Families Invited to Join the  Fun at Redwood City’s Halloween Spooktakular

Redwood City, CA - October 15, 2008 - The fall season is here, and as the nights get colder and the leaves start to change color, children’s thoughts are turning to…Halloween! And with Halloween comes Redwood City’s 12th annual Spooktakular event, taking place on Saturday, October 25th from noon to 3 pm at Red Morton Community Center, 1120 Roosevelt Avenue in Redwood City.

Kids will thrill to carnival games, proudly show off their Halloween attire in a Costume Parade at 1:30 pm, explore their way through the mysterious Monster Maze, indulge in Transylvania Treats, enjoy lots of other fun activities, and win prizes! Redwood City’s Halloween Spooktakular is suitable for kids up to age ten - admission is just $5 per child.

The entire community is invited to bring the kids and enjoy tons of Halloween fun in a safe, creative, and festive family Halloween atmosphere. More information is available online at www.redwoodcityevents.com, or by calling 650-780-7311.

The Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department provides recreational facilities and activities for all ages and interests, and supplies building and custodial services for City buildings.
