Redwood City and Redwood City Police Department Invite Community to the 2009 National Night Out Celebration!
Redwood City, CA - July 30, 2009 - Redwood City is planning a great, fun National Night Out event – and the entire community is invited to join family, friends, and neighbors at 4 pm on August 4 at Courthouse Square.
National Night Out is America's Night Out Against Crime - a unique nationwide crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). It’s designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Tuesday, August 4th
4 – 8 pm (including our Dancing on the Square event!)
