“Scare on the Square” FREE Halloween-Inspired Movies Outdoors in October – on the Big Screen at Courthouse Square

Redwood City, CA - September 28, 2009 - Redwood City announces another of its incredible variety of FREE activities, perfect for the whole family! Saturday, October 3rd is the start of “Scare on the Square” FREE Halloween-inspired outdoor movies! The first feature is “The Goonies” which shows at 7 pm.

The community is invited to join with friends, families, and neighbors for three weekends of FREE Halloween-inspired spooky films right on Courthouse Square (weather permitting). In addition to “The Goonies,” kids and adults alike will enjoy the vampire hit movie, “Twilight” on October 10th on our 25-foot inflatable outdoor BIG screen! With the variety of restaurants downtown, many people will make an evening of it with dinner and a movie.

Here’s the schedule for Redwood City’s “Scare on the Square” for 2009:

• Saturday October 3rd 7:00 pm – “The Goonies” (PG)
• Saturday October 10th 7:00 pm – “Twilight” (PG-13)
