Redwood City, Calif. -- The Redwood City Police Department has launched a Pinterest site for the purpose of reuniting victims with their stolen property. The website contains photographs of property, primarily jewelry and bicycles, recovered by police officers during the course of their duties. Photographs of the property are uploaded onto the website so the public can easily access the site to check for their missing property.

The site has already achieved success. Two recent victims of residential burglaries accessed the site and were able to identify some of their missing jewelry. The site gives victims the ability to view property that was recovered by several law enforcement agencies in one easy to use site. Victims are encouraged to check the site regularly for items that may have been recently recovered.

If you believe you are the owner of any of the items pictured, please contact Detective Dave Stahler at 650.780.7620 or You will be asked to provide a police department case number to document the theft and documentation to establish you are the owner of the property.
