|myRWC is a multi-platform solution providing Redwood City residents, businesses, and visitors access to a set of local government services, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Have you ever wanted to quickly report an issue – like a pothole or an abandoned car – but didn’t know the number or email to use? We understand that it’s not always easy to follow up on the things that matter to you to make a better Redwood City.
That’s why we created myRWC – the simple, convenient tool that puts City Hall at your “fingertips” The best way to use myRWC is to download the app onto your smartphone, following the instructions below. You can also submit a request through this website by clicking the Make a Service Request link at left.
You no longer have to hunt for the right number (although you are still welcome to call us!). You now have one central tool to immediately communicate what issues need attention, and access other information you want to know.
How Does It Work?
|Once you access myRWC, you will find all kinds of issues that folks commonly call us about, such as:|
Broken parking meters
Street cleaning problems
You can also access popular online services, such as:
City employment opportunities
Online bill payment
You can provide additional details as you wish, and even attach a photo. myRWC will automatically know the issue location if you have enabled your device’s GPS and location services.
Your request will be routed to the Redwood City team members responsible for addressing your concern. You can share your concern with others (called “followers”), and you all can track the status and resolution of the request right from the phone!
Local government functions at its best when everyone participates in identifying and solving issues. With myRWC, businesses, residents and visitors alike can work together for an even better Redwood City!

Beta Launch on November 1, 2013
For the initial launch, the app will have a core set of capabilities, mainly focusing on issues related to Public Works such as potholes and graffiti, and non-urgent police requests such as abandoned vehicles.
We want you to tell us how to expand myRWC to be an even more effective tool. What are the issues that you believe commonly need resolution? In the months ahead, we will add more capabilities based on your feedback.
Also, during this time, you may experience some minor technical issues that can be reported to our developer's tech support for analysis and resolution.
