JEDI ENGINEERING

Young Jedi will explore worlds far, far away and engineering principles right in front of them. Defeat the Empire by designing and refining X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements on far-flung edges of the galaxy. Imagination and engineering combine to create motorized and architectural projects such as energy catapults, shield generators and defense turrets. A new offering of original designs for young Jedi from Play-Well TEKnologies. Students should bring a peanut-free snack.

JEDI MASTERS

The Force is strong in this class. Build complex machines and structures based on the best designs from a galaxy far, far away. Projects include X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, settlements, and fortresses. Play-Well’s Jedi instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as geartrains, worm drives, pneumatics, eccentric motion and more as students tap into the powerful forces of imagination and engineering. LEGO ROBOTICS
Age 8-12

Learn about building and programming robots using the LEGO Mindstorms system and over 100,000 pieces of LEGO! Explore the many uses of touch, light, sound, and ultrasonic sensors with a robotic project of your own unique design. Program your robot to avoid obstacles, manipulate objects, and much more. Projects are structured so that students solve problems and have fun in an open-ended, investigative environment.

FLIGHT CLUB

Become a future aerospace engineer! Build and experiment with paper airplanes, helicopters, parachutes, rockets, and a wide variety of aerospace designs. Learn about propulsion, air foils, terminal velocity, gyroscopic forces, and other aeronautic concepts. An experienced Flight
Club instructor helps you acquire aerospace engineering skills that last a lifetime. Take home your creations from this interactive and educaeducational class about having fun with flight. Lab Fee: $10 payable @ 1st class.

RC MOTION
Age 7-10

Explore all things Remote Controlled in RC Motion! Drive RC Cars, Slot Cars, Snap Circuit Cars, and Rock Crawlers! Race your cars on indoor racetracks that change each day. Add challenging terrain and jumps! Create rock crawling courses and slaloms to test your vehicle’s precision and control. Test your flying skills on the Flight Simulator, and master the RC Helicopter! All materials provided.
