Boxing Fitness |
You don’t have to be a boxer to get a boxing
workout. Our high intensity classes challenge
individuals in a fun and exciting way, combining
music, movement and motivation. Increase
cardiovascular fitness, lose weight, enhance
muscle tone, elevate energy levels, improve
confidence and reduce stress. Start with
various warm-up activities. Learn stance,
footwork, and striking technique on heavy bags
for a total body conditioning workout. Interval
training is intermixed to build lung capacity and
increase heart rate to promote high calorie
burn. Sharpen skills and build stamina with
punch mitt routines and strength exercises,
with an emphiasis on core stability.

Cardio Latin Dance Workout |
Spicy, Hot and Energetic! This cardio dance workout is a fun way to keep your body toned, lose weight and get in amazing shape! Salsa, samba, cha cha, and merengue highlight this high energy low- impact aerobic dance patterns, taught one step at a time, then building gradually into combinations. You’ll burn the fat as you burn up the dance floor feeling the beat of the Latin music. All fitness levels are welcome.

Strength Training: Create A Home Workout |
We will create a home workout using hand weights. You will learn to do safe and effective exercises to help strengthen and tone all muscles groups as well as increase bone density to help prevent Osteoporosis. An additional benefit can be weight loss. Our class will start with a gentle cardio warmup and end with stretching. Please bring: 3 to 5 pound hand weights for woman and 7 to 9 pounds for men and a mat.

Tai Chi Chuan is a soft, internal energy martial art, promoting balance, health, and relaxation. The class covers Chi Kung warm-ups, the Tai Chi stance and principles, the short and long integrated forms and applications, and partner movement. The individual begins learning the basics and the form. Partner movement happens only when the student is comfortable with it and is approached without force. Standing massage may be included in order to relax you into the Tai Chi mindset, but it is purely optional. Wear comfortable clothing. Talk with instructor prior to registering in the Intermediate class. |

Tai Chi – Chi Kung for Health

Tai Chi and Chi Kung are both an ancient art and modern science. People of all ages enjoy improved health from these gentle exercises, including: increased stamina, improved agility and inner peace. Many participants report increased flexibility, balance, and better health. Ming Wu will demonstrate many styles of Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and different weapons in each session and a performance. Zumba is an exciting easy-to-follow dance based fitness system designed for everyone! It is a high energy fun cardio workout with Latin and International rhythms (salsa, cumbia, merengue, bhangra, belly dance, reggaton, samba). It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms and mainly the abs/core! Great way to sweat, and have fun at the same time! Flat bottom shoes recommended! No dance experience necessary.

Zumba Toning |
Let’s Zumba Tone! Zumba toning class will use the same great music and dance moves but add additional fitness moves to focus on certain body parts. Zumba toning class will incorporate squats, lunges, bicep curls, ab workout and many other toning exercises. Because the weights are so light, you can still do your regular Zumba salsa, cumbia, merengue, and other dance rhythms while getting a better calorie-burning and muscle toning and sculpting workout. All levels welcome! Please bring 2lbs or 3lbs weights to class.
