| Student Spotlight! Call for Performers |
Hey kids!
Want to perform for a live audience?
The Student Spotlight Program is chance for youth to showcase their skills in front of a large audience. You may have heard about the excitement all over Redwood City, from the “Summer in the City” program, and concerts at Stafford Park, Marlin Park, and Courthouse Square. In 2008, we not only want to continue this energy and experience, but we want to highlight Redwood City youth who are participating in the arts. Click for more info... |

| Save the Date |
This is the time of year for the Veteran's Memorial Senior Center's annual fundraising campaign. On Friday, May 16, 2008 we will host a new event, “Friends Walk for the Health of It." We will offer a 5K walk, Wii walk and perimeter walk, as well as a Health Faire and refreshments as part of the activities. All the proceeds generated that day will help us to continue our programs at a low or no cost to our patrons. Some of these vital services are transportation, fitness classes, educational lectures and nutritious meals. For more information or to join our team, please contact Bruce Utecht 650.780.7306. |
