Fall 2011 Activity Guide
Look for your copy in your mailbox after August 12 . All residents of Redwood City and Woodside will receive the brochure in the mail. If you live in a different city than those mentioned above and would like to be added to the mailing list, email us!
Online Registration Dates:
Residents- August 17 at 11am
Non-residents- August 29 at 11am
We will not accept any registration forms until brochures have been received in resident mailboxes. All forms sent prior to this will be returned.

Target Family Days, generously sponsored by Target, will transform Courthouse Square, into a walkable assortment of themed family entertainment this summer. Featuring Live Music, Street Performers, Cooking Demonstrations, Themed Face Painting, Hands-on Art Projects, Food, Bounce Houses and More, there will be something for everyone on three Sundays from July through September. Plus, the street will be closed to through traffic, making a stroll along Broadway a fun and relaxing family experience.

Thank you to all who participated in the Annual July 4th Parade Run! We had a fantastic turn-out and it proved again to be a perfect way to kick-off the holiday! Thanks to the 747 Parade Run runners and walkers, many sponsors, and the dynamite organizing committee, $20,500 was raised for the Save Our School Music campaign!.

Are you a middle school student?
Do you want to have fun and discover new skills and talents?
Are you interested in living a strong and healthy life?
The Personal Health Academy for Teens (PHAT) is for you !
PHAT is a program provided to boys and girls in 6th-8th grades. Start date: Wednesday, September 7
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Time: 4:00-6:00pm
Cost: $25.00 per month (limited scholarships available)
Registration: Aug 1-Aug 31
The PHAT is set up to be a fun, safe and hands-on experience where students will participate in a full range of ‘healthy’ activities for middle school students.
A sample of program offerings includes activities such as:
Sports and recreation
Conditioning and fitness
Martial arts and dance
Healthy snacks and nutrition
Gardening and cooking
Review of youth health risks
Conflict resolution skills
Field trips
