Classes will run from January through March and our winter holiday activities are included as well.

Winter 2010 Season

Age 5-9 as of December 31, 2009


SEASON: Saturdays, January 9-March 27, 2010
ELIGIBILITY: Boys & Girls between the ages of 5 and 9 (as of December 31, 2009) are eligible to play. Participants will need to bring basketball shoes (NO black soles) and a positive learning attitude. Each player will receive a reversible jersey, team photo, and trophy at the end of the season.
LOCATION: ALL games and practices will be held at Red Morton Center
DIVISIONS: Boys 5, 6-7, 8-9 and Girls 5, 6-7, 8-9
TENTATIVE SEASON SCHEDULE:

Saturday Games- January 9 - March 20 12:30/ 1:30/ 2:30/ 3:30/ 4:30
PRACTICE SCHEDULE: ALL practices will be 20 minutes and games will be 30 minutes in the form of (2) 15 minute halves.

There will be an End of Season Exhibition Game where the coaches will play against the Ballin’ Ambassadors Entertainment Basketball Team on March 27, 2010 at 3PM. (The game will include a guest speaker and trophy celebration).
COST: League is $125. Sign-Ups begin NOW and will continue until all rosters are filled.

Sign-up to play baseball!!  The Redwood City American Little League (RCALL) is having registration for the 2010 Season.  Boys and girls residing in Redwood City between the ages of 5 and 16 are invited to participate and have a wonderful time learning and playing the game.  Registration will takes place at the Fair Oaks Community Center on the following dates:

Holiday Gift Bags For Homebound Seniors & Children In Need

This holiday season the Veterans Memorial Senior Center will be helping homebound seniors and children in need throughout the community by delivering holiday gift bags.  The VMSC is currently accepting donations to assist the Senior Center in purchasing items for the Gift Bags.  If you are interested in making a donation, please fill out this form and return it to the Veterans Memorial Senior Center. Your support is greatly appreciated!
