Try that class you have always wanted to take - ON US! During our special Open House Week, many programs are giving you the opportunity to try a version of their class for FREE!!! Just show up the day of the free class. Participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis based upon room and class capacity limits.

View displays and talk to representatives from many early care and education programs in the Mid-Peninsula (Belmont to Palo Alto); Attend one of two short presentations on "Choosing Quality Preschool & Child Care" by the Child Care Coordinating Council (5:30pm or 6:30pm);Pick up general information or ask questions about family child care homes, State licensing, in-home care, quality indicators, accreditation, and more. Sponsored by Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services, Redwood City Mothers Club, and Bay Area Parent Magazine.

Fitness Tip: Parents, sign your child up for a class, and then come and work out!

Redwood City Family & Teen Snowboard and Ski Trips are back! This year we are teaming up with Bay Area Ski Bus! Bay Area Ski Bus has served teens in the Bay Area for over 11 seasons. Blue Angels Youth Ski & Snowboard Program register now!
(Ages 7-16)

Come join us on 5 trips to the local mountains & snowboard or ski with a certified coach! The Blue Angels program features 5 full Saturdays of coaching, a plush ride, Sierra-at-Tahoe lift tickets, a hearty lunch and even a Pro-Tec helmet!  Whether you’re a first-timer or already an expert, you’ll love the on-snow fun with Blue Angels! Ages:  8-14 years
Location:  Red Morton Community Center (1120 Roosevelt Ave.)
Fee: $35/player (Please return forms to Red Morton-1120 Roosevelt)
Program Information:
This is a coed indoor drop-in soccer program with in-house rules designed to encourage playing good quality, fast paced, soccer. If there are enough registrants, this will be converted to a small league where participants will play (2) 20 minute games each Sunday.  Game length is up to 20 minutes long with no half time.   Players will be placed on a team of 6-8 players, with 6 on the field at one time.  (Free substitution, no game stoppage required.)

artlvrThe San Mateo County Arts Commission invites you to participate in a countywide survey designed to get community members’ ideas on how to maintain and enhance the arts in our county.  Your feedback will be anonymous, and you will not be put on any mailing or e-mail lists by participating in this survey. 

This survey will take approximately five minutes to complete.  We will use your response to help analyze different approaches to support and sustain the arts in San Mateo County.
