Preschool for All
"Preschool for All" in San Mateo County is a five-year demonstration project to provide free part-day preschool for four year olds living within the attendance boundaries of the Redwood City School District (as well as Ravenswood S.D.). Administered by the San Mateo County Office of Education and funded by First 5 San Mateo County, Preschool for All (PFA) services are delivered in part-day and full-day preschool and child care settings in the community. The demonstration project period ends on June 30, 2009.
At present, all Preschool for All classrooms are filled for the 2008-09 school year. Families who meet the income eligibility for state or federally subsidized preschool programs and need help paying for preschool should contact the 4Cs of San Mateo County's Centralized Eligibility List (CEL).
