Volunteer Opportunities

“The smiles on the kid’s faces made my day!” Donna Bethel, volunteer for special events.

Volunteering is a great way for youth to gain experience in the field of recreation and make a difference in our community. If you are in middle school, high school, or college and want to volunteer with the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department you may pick up a volunteer form at the Red Morton Community Center- 1120 Roosevelt Avenue. We have several different volunteering opportunities through out the year including:

  • Tutoring elementary children at local schools
  • Assisting in arts, drama, sports, etc at local After School Programs.
  • Special Events Team- Set up, facilitates activities, etc.
  • Summer Leaders In Training Program
  • And more!

We look forward to having you as part of our valuable team in our community!
