Celebrate World Environment Day in Redwood City
Saturday, June 2nd • 9:00am to Noon
at Red Morton Park (on the Valota Road side of the park)

Benefit Bike Ride • Free Children’s Activities • Information Booths on how to Protect the Environment • Park Tree Planting

As the United Nations sponsors the 35th annual World Environment Day, Redwood City is invited to celebrate and participate locally. The fun begins at 9:00am with a 16-mile Tour des Trees bike ride; a children’s walk, bike or scooter around Red Morton Park; children’s arts and crafts with environmental education themes; and lots of valuable information and resources from local environmental and non-profit groups. A special tree planting ceremony will begin at 11:00am.
