Courthouse Square

Remember when every downtown had a central gathering place, a plaza, or a town square? Those spaces provided a comfortable place for people to gather, meet, and be part of a real community. Well construction of Downtown Redwood City’s very own town square is now complete!!

The south annex of the Courthouse has been removed, and the portico and façade of the historic 1910 Courthouse has been restored. The plaza is now open. Come and visit and see the finest public space in the Bay Area!
