1. 1142 Clinton Street (Vittorio Cantalupo):
Application for a Variance from the rear-yard requirements
with the Multi-Family Medium Density (R-4) District; the
applicant is requesting a fifteen (15) foot setback from
the rear property line to allow for a second floor addition.
The existing residence backs up to a storm drain culvert
and currently maintains varying setback of at least fifteen
(15) feet from the rear property line (which is approximately
the centerline of the culvert). The proposed project would
result in the addition of a second floor, resulting in a
two-story single-family residence of approximately 1,176
square feet. The site situated along the western side of
Clinton Street mid-block between Roosevelt Avenue and Oak
Avenue.
The proposed project was previously approved on May 8, 2003
(V2003-08); however, the entitlement expired. This submittal
is seeking renewal of the previous approval.

2. 144 Manzanita Street (Cecilia Kirk):
Application for a
Use Permit, pursuant to Article 33, Section 10 of the
Zoning ordinance, to allow the expansion of a single
family residence and to add a covered, second off-street
parking space. With the proposed addition, the living area
will be 1,417 square feet and will include a two car garage
approximately 525 square feet in size. The property is
approximately 4,843 square feet in size and is located in
the Industrial
Restricted (IR) Zoning District.
