1. 929 James Avenue (Rosario Galvez):
Application for a Variance to allow for the reduction of
a side yard setback to two feet eight inch (2’8”)
feet and rear yard setback of one foot (1’), where
a four foot (4’) side yard setback and six foot (6’)
rear yard setback would otherwise be required by the Redwood
City Zoning Ordinance, to accommodate the relocation of a
detached accessory building (a one-car garage). Section 43.1
states the Zoning Administrator shall have the power to grant
Variances from the terms of this ordinance in respect to
yard requirements. The subject property is a rectangular
parcel with a forty (40) foot lot width. The subject property
is approximately 4,400 square feet and is located within
the Single-Family Residential “R-1” Zoning District.
