Application for a Variance to allow for the reduction of
a side yard setback to two feet seven inches (2’7”)
where a five foot six inch (5’6”) side yard
setback would otherwise be required by the Redwood City
Zoning Ordinance, to accommodate the relocation of an existing
detached garage. Section 43.1 states the Zoning Administrator
shall have the power to grant Variances from the terms
of this ordinance in respect to yard requirements. The
subject property is a rectangular parcel with a fifty-five
foot lot width. The subject property is approximately 7,150
square feet and is located within the Single-Family Residential “R-1” Zoning
District.
