- 3724 Laurel Way (Fred Strathdee & Associates
Architecture and Planning for Mr. and Mrs. Buksh):
Application for a Planned Development Permit for the construction
of a new single-family home on a vacant hillside parcel in
the Residential Hillside (RH) Zoning District. The proposed
residence would be two-stories and comprise approximately
2,900 square feet of floor area, which includes a 425 square
foot two-car garage. The site is approximately 8,173 square
feet and has an average slope of approximately 46%. The applicant
is proposing a reduced front yard setback of twelve (12)
feet where twenty (20) feet is normally required in order
to reduce site grading, overall building height and bulk,
and impacts on existing oak trees which are proposed to be
retained. At least twenty (20) feet would be retained between
the garage door and the edge of pavement to ensure adequate
site distance for vehicle egress onto Laurel Way.
