  1. 595 Marlin Court (Richard T. Fernandez):

An application for a Planned Development Amendment to allow for the construction of a retaining wall and floating boat dock at a single family residence.  The proposal includes the removal of a wood retaining wall and the installation of a cement block retaining wall with a 320 square foot floating fiberglass dock at the rear of the property on the Redwood Shores lagoon.  The property is located in a single-family residential neighborhood backed up to the waterway.  The property consists of approximately 9,325 square feet with a 3,250 square foot single-family residence.  The property is located within the Residential Single-Family (R-1) Zoning District.

2.  1130 Hopkins Avenue (Karl Schultz):

An application for a Use Permit to allow for the conversion of a 990 square-foot vacant tenant space to dental office space at an existing dental office building.  The space has been vacant for over a year and said tenant improvements would not increase the footprint of the existing building.  The applicant is proposing a staggered schedule for all dentists that would be working at the project site such that the maximum floor area in use at any given time would not exceed the minimum parking spaces required for the dental office use.  The property consists of approximately 17,455 square feet and is located within the Residential Multi-Family / Office Combining Zoning District (R-5-O).

Project Planner:  Michelle G. Tangunan, 650.780.7238
