The Administrative Lieutenant is responsible for maintaining the policy manual, grant management, research and development, personnel training, Pitchess motions, public records requests and certain types of permitting. The Administrative Lieutenant serves on several committees representing the Department at City Hall and is active with the Planning Review Committee, Downtown Management Team and Special Events Committees.
