Hit and Run

Welcome to the Redwood City Police Department Citizens Online Police Reporting Sstem. This system will allow you to file an immediate online police report and print a copy of the report for free.

If you have been the victim of a hit and run accident and do not know the person/vehicle responsible, you can use this system to file a report. Online police reporting is for use in situations where no suspect information is present. (Examples: Your car was parked unattended and an unknown driver/vehicle hit your car and did not leave a note, or a vehicle hit your car and then fled without stopping to exchange information or before you could get a license plate.)

DO NOT USE ONLINE REPORTING IF:

You know the individual responsible: Call RCPD at 780-7100
You have a license plate of the suspect vehicle: Call RCPD at 780-7100
If the accident occurred in the last 10 minutes: ********CALL 911*******
If you sustained any type of injury: ********CALL 911*******
