Toilet Replacement Program Qualifications

  1. To qualify for the Program: idea

    1. The property where the high efficiency toilet will be installed must be served by Redwood City Water , and have an associated City water account (click here to learn how to find your water account number).
    2. The new toilet installation must replace an existing working toilet using 3.5 gallons or more per flush (click here to learn how to determine your toilet's gallons-per-flush) The City will remove and recycle your old water wasting toilet.
    3. Existing Low-Flow toilets designed to use 1.6 gallons per flush and new bathroom additions do not qualify for the program.
    4. Residential participation in this program is limited to three toilets per dwelling unit. There is no limit on the number of toilets for commercial participation.
    5. Tenants must have approval from the property’s owner or owner's legal representative, and provide the owner’s personal information.
    6. Applicant must agree to the Program’s Terms and Conditions.
