Toilet Replacement Program Qualifications

To qualify for the Program: 
- The property where the high efficiency toilet will be installed must
be served by Redwood City Water , and have an associated City water account
(click here to learn
how to find your water account number).
- The new toilet installation must replace an existing working
toilet using 3.5 gallons or more per flush (click here to
learn how to determine your toilet's gallons-per-flush) The City will
remove and recycle your old water wasting toilet.
- Existing Low-Flow toilets designed to use 1.6 gallons per flush and
new bathroom additions do not qualify for the program.
- Residential participation in this program is limited to three toilets
per dwelling unit. There is no limit on the number of toilets for commercial
participation.
- Tenants must have approval from the property’s owner or owner's
legal representative, and provide the owner’s personal information.
- Applicant must agree to the Program’s Terms
and Conditions.
