High Efficiency Toilet Rebate Program
Here are the easy steps to participate in this program:
- Step One: Complete the top portion of the Rebate
Application form (a separate application must be completed for each account),
sign and date application, and mail it to Redwood City.
- Step Two: Redwood City will call you to schedule
a Home Water Survey. A Water Conservation Technician will inspect the toilet
to be replaced and approve and return to you the approved Rebate Application
form. An adult must be present
- Step Three:
- You select a toilet(s) from the City’s Approved List of Qualified
Toilets and purchase the toilet(s). A maximum of 3 toilet rebates per
dwelling unit is allowed.
- You have the toilet(s) installed.
- You complete the toilet purchase information on your Rebate Application
form and submit the completed application to the City, attaching the
original sales receipt (make copies for your records prior to sending),
or itemized plumber’s invoice, showing the date of purchase, manufacturer’s
name, model name and number, and price. Your submission of an approved
Rebate Application following installation must be postmarked within 90
days of the purchase date.
- Step Four: Call Redwood City’s Water
Conservation Program at (650) 780-7436 to schedule the free pick-up of your
old toilet. Failure to make your old toilet available for disposal by City
will result in denial of the rebate.
- Step Five: The City approves your rebate and mails you a check. Please
allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of your rebate check.
