The program Contractor is not responsible for pre-existing abnormal
conditions that may prevent the toilet installation, such as rotted flooring
or a broken waste flange. The contractor will not be able to install
the new toilet until all the abnormal conditions are corrected by the
property owner. The program does not cover expenses for repair work required
on abnormal pre-existing site conditions.

Installers shall have access to the property’s worksite as necessary
to install toilet(s). Resident must be present at time of install to
permit entry. A responsible adult must remain present at all times during
the installation process.

The installation of high efficiency toilets is permanent and the contractor
will remove the old toilet from the property for recycling.

Participants agree to allow entry and accompany a City representative
on property site to perform a pre or post installation inspection of
the toilet(s) when requested.

At the completion of the installation the toilet installed becomes property
of the participant. The City of Redwood City is not responsible for any
manufacturer and/or contractor warranties. All products, services and
labor are guaranteed and warranted solely by the manufacturer and/or
contractor.

Call-back services for labor warranties are provided by the City’s
designated contractor S.J.
Water Conservation Corp., for one year following the date of installation.
