Urban Water Management Plan, 2005 Update
~ A Community Conversation on Water Supply ~
Redwood City's Draft 2005 UWM Plan is now available for public
review and comment.
Please click here to
go to the Draft Plan. Copies of the draft plan are also available at City Hall
(1017 Middlefield Road), the Downtown Library (1044 Middlefield Road), and
at Public Works (1400 Broadway). You may also call 780-7464 to have
a copy sent to you.
This Draft Plan will be available through December 19, 2005. The community
is encouraged to review the Draft Plan and attend the final public comment workshop on
November 30th, and the Public Hearing on December 19th.
Final public comment workshop:
Wednesday, November 30 - 7:30 pm (come early for refreshments)

At this workshop, participants will be brought up to speed on the work done
so far, hear about the next steps, and engage in discussion of the Draft Plan.
The City needs your comments, questions, opinions, likes, and dislikes about
the Draft Plan, and your thoughts on how it addreseses long term water supply
concerns.
City Council/Public Hearing:
The final Draft Plan will be brought to the City Council for consideration
during a public hearing on Monday, December 19th, 2005 at
the Council meeting which begins at 7 pm in City Hall, 1017 Middlefield
Road. Your input from the previous community workshops will be summarized
and presented to the Council at this meeting.
This Public Hearing is an additional opportunity for the community to comment
on the Draft Plan, so please plan on attending. If you have comments but cannot
attend the public hearing, you are encouraged to send them in writing by December
19th to:
