Redwood City Water Conservation Program
The City of Redwood City became a signatory member of the California
Urban Water Conservation Council (CUWCC) in 1992. The CUWCC
is an association of water agencies, public advocacy and special
interest groups, concerned with water supply and conservation of
natural resources in California.
The CUWCC has been responsible for developing
"Best Management Practices" (BMPs) for water conservation
and monitoring their implementation by signatory agencies. Redwood
City has been progressively implementing the water conservation
BMPs for the last two years. We intend to be in full compliance
by FY 2003/04.
