Ellen Kirschman, Ph.D. with Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos

The Fifth Reflection

Ellen Kirschman writes fiction and non-fiction inspired by the cops she’s worked with worked with during her thirty years as a police and public safety psychologist.  Join us for a look at her brand new book - The Fifth Reflection (in the Dot Meyerhoff Series.) Her aim is to “leave you with the feeling that you learned something new, not just about cops and other first responders, but about psychologists as well.”   Her tone is serious, but not dreary.  Dr. Dot Meyerhoff – is named for her mother and grandmother – and is funny, headstrong and should be counseling cops, not solving crime.

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos - is the chief executive officer of the Sheriff’s Office and the final authority of all matters of policy, operations and discipline.

Sponsored by Friends of the Redwood City Public Library.
