Teen Program: Drop-in College Essay Help with Alice Kleeman

These drop-in sessions are designed for current high school seniors, who are in the process of applying to college and need help either answering college-application essay questions and/or assistance with creating a compelling personal statement.

Alice Kleeman, former College Advisor with Menlo-Atherton High School, will be on-site and ready to help seniors one-on-one with what they’ve written or to provide help with the first steps. No pre-event sign-up necessary; students will be helped on a first-come basis.

Alice Kleeman was the College Advisor for Menlo-Atherton High School for 20 years before retiring. She currently volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club and other groups to continue to help teens navigate college, obtain scholarships, and assists with financial aid applications.

Teen programs are for teens grades 6th through 12th. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
