1st Annual Stulsaft Park Clean-up Day

Join us for a fun afternoon cleaning up our beloved Stulsaft Park! Volunteers should expect to walk across steep, hilly terrain while we pull invasive plants and enjoy the lovely scenery. This event is rain or shine, unless otherwise notified. Click here to register!


Waivers/Registration: All participants must register & approve the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf.

Parking: There is street parking by the Farm Hill Blvd entrance.

Alternate Transportation: There are places to lock your bike at the Farm Hill Blvd entrance. You can also take the 274 bus going West and get off at the Emerald Rd stop. From there it is a 900 ft walk going northeast to the park entrance. If you take the 274 bus going east, you can get off at the 3550 Farm Hill Blvd stop and walk 1/2 mile south to get the park.

Meeting Space: We will meet at the picnic tables by the bathrooms.

Prepare for Working Outdoors:

  • Water bottle
  • Long pants, long sleeves recommended
  • Sturdy close-toed shoes that can get dirty
  • Hat/sunscreen
  • Plan for potential exposure to sun, poison oak, ticks

We will provide gloves, tools, and light snacks.


Grassroots Ecology encourages people from all identities and backgrounds to participate in our programs. Many of our programs are outdoors and involve moving and working in a variety of landscapes. If you have accessibility concerns (i.e., allergies, limited mobility, learning differences), our projects are flexible and we are happy to work with you. Please reach out to the workday facilitator so we can best prepare for your participation.
