Online - Cumbe - West African Dance Adventures

  • Date: 02/13/2021 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM

CumbeJoin us as Dani Criss, of Cumbe takes us on a journey through West African culture as we explore the vivacious rhythms, high energy movement, and jewels of knowledge from various countries such as Nigeria, Guinea, and Burkina Faso. Sing to traditional African rhythms and tracks, learn oral and movement principles of Traditional and Contemporary African dance. The class will flow with an engaging body awareness warm-up, enriching movement vocabulary, some music exploration, and a jam session. We invite all families to participate in the fun!
