Seed Saving in Your Garden

  • Date: 07/10/2021 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Come learn how to save your garden's seeds to share and grow again next season with UCCE Master Gardeners Betsy Colby and Carolyn Dorsch. CLICK HERE to register for this online event.  This event will be in English.

Betsy Colby has been a Master Gardener since 2009 and is also a Master Composter. Betsy leads the UCCE Master Gardeners School Garden Committee which supports the teachers and volunteers who are leading school garden programs throughout San Mateo and San Francisco Counties. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about saving seeds with the school gardening community and home gardeners.

Carolyn Dorsch has always had a deep admiration and affinity for all plants. She enjoys seeing plants in their natural habitat, in all seasons, and applies her knowledge of how California natives grow in the wild in order to cultivate them in the garden. An avid vegetable gardener, Carolyn plants a garden every year. In addition to being a Master Gardener, she is a Master Composter and a beginner beekeeper.
