High school seniors! After a lively session about the University of California Personal Insight Questions (PIQ) with more than 55 engaged and enthusiastic seniors in attendance, Alice Kleeman will offer a session on the Common Application on Wednesday, September 7, from 6:00-7:15pm, in the Redwood City Downtown Library Community Room. Seniors: Please check first to see if you will be applying to Common App colleges so the session will be useful for you. From Alice Kleeman, presenter: "My emphasis is always on lowering students’ stress level in relation to applying to college. I served as the College Advisor at Menlo-Atherton H.S. for 20 years. Since retiring seven years ago, I have kept well informed so I can be useful to students who need extra help (without ever charging money for my help). I offer college-related help as a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club and elsewhere. I particularly enjoy serving students whose parents did not go to college. All students (at the right grade level) are welcome to attend the library events. Thank you!”
