La exhibición incluye pinturas que representan el estilo y la técnica de pintura únicos de Cruz. Sus coloridas pinturas de “espaldas” (espaldas) de mujeres guatemaltecas vistiendo “hupiles” tradicionales dan la impresión de una tela tejida tridimensional en lugar de una pintura bidimensional.

The exhibit includes paintings that depict Cruz’s unique painting style and technique. His colorful paintings of “espaldas” (backs) of Guatemalan women wearing traditional “hupiles” give the impression of a three-dimensional woven cloth rather than a two-dimensional painting.
