There are many benefits to slowing down, becoming present and more self-aware. This Experiential Mindfulness workshop will be facilitated by Diana Blank, LCSW, who is a bilingual mental health clinician in the Child and Parent Services (CAPS) program at StarVista. Mindfulness can be any intentional activity that helps us become fully present in the moment. At this experiential workshop, we will engage together in guided meditations, positive affirmations, following your breath, using essential oils for relaxation and clarity and gratitude journaling. We will talk about local community resources and online opportunities to practice mindfulness (a resource list will be provided). Stress balls will be given out on a first come, first basis. This program will be in the Community Room.
