Cultural Events and Celebrations
As part of its celebration of local diversity, Redwood City recognizes a variety of cultural events and awareness days.
14th Annual Chanukah Festival

This year's Menorah is created by joining together 27 different pre-painted canvases at the Festival to create a seven foot tall Menorah. The center canvases of the Menorah spells out Am Yisrael Chai.
We have 27 opportunities to paint a canvas. Each canvas costs $50 and all paint and brushes will be provided. $25 will go to a charity in Israel and the remainder to offset the cost of the event.
