Learn basic garment sewing skills including: how to read a commercial sewing pattern, how to organize a sewing project, and various cutting and finishing techniques. Each participant will sew their own pair of elastic waist shorts to take home. Participants should be comfortable with basic machine skills such as threading the needle and adjusting stitch settings.
