Exploring the Flavors of Latin America
Join us for a month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage. During our culinary journey we will explore the vibrant and diverse flavors and stories of Latin America. Throughout the month, immerse yourself in the flavors, aromas, and culinary traditions of Latin America. Each event will feature cultural insights, recipes, books, and the opportunity to taste these authentic dishes. Don't miss this chance to expand your palate and celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Hispanic cultures! Teens are encouraged to attend these programs.
Rice Revelations * October 12
Conclude the journey by comparing rice dishes from Mexico, Perú and El Salvador. Witness the preparation of Mexican rice, Peruvian Green Rice and Salvadoran white rice, learning about the unique spices and techniques that give each dish its distinct flavor. Savor the subtle differences and appreciate the importance of rice in Latin American cuisines.

Acompáñanos para una celebración de un mes de la Herencia Hispana. Durante nuestro viaje culinario exploraremos los vibrantes y diversos sabores e historias de América Latina. Durante todo el mes, sumérgete en los sabores, aromas y tradiciones culinarias de América Latina. Cada evento contará con conocimientos culturales, recetas, libros y la oportunidad de probar estos platos auténticos. ¡No pierdas esta oportunidad de ampliar tu paladar y celebrar la rica herencia culinaria de las culturas hispanas! Se anima a los adolescentes a asistir a estos programas.

Concluya el viaje comparando arroces de México, Perú y El Salvador. Sea testigo de la preparación del arroz rojo mexicano, arroz verde peruano y del arroz blanco salvadoreño y aprenda sobre las especias y técnicas únicas que le dan a cada plato su sabor distintivo.
