This fall, our book selections will honor Native American Heritage Month.

Join our exciting English-language virtual book club for 3rd-5th graders! (Ages 8 - 12)

Get FREE books to keep and cherish.
Enjoy fun discussions with kids your age.
Boost your reading skills.
Occasionally participate in fun games and crafts.
Explore new worlds and ideas from the comfort of your home.

Dates: September 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24

When: Thursday evenings @ 5pm (60-minute sessions)

Where: Online via Zoom

Once you're registered, we'll send you all the details on how to get your free books and join the Zoom meetings. Get ready for a fun reading experience!

November 3- 5:00-7:00pm	Make a Nicho Altar Shadow Box- Free Art Workshop (regstration required)	CZI Community Space, 801 Jefferson Ave
November 6- 3:40pm-8pm	Dia de los Muertos Celebration Redwood City Courthouse Square is transformed into a play, where musicians, dancers, artists, family altars are on display; sugar skulls, marigolds and more will decorate the Square and bringing it to life. Catrinas will be walking around the plaza greeting visitors, and a procession will walk through downtown Redwood City. Papel picado adorns the Food Court area with an array of traditional foods and the vendor booths that line the streets. Inside of the San Mateo County History Museum is a FREE exhibition of altars, as well as free arts and crafts for kids where they can create traditional art and enjoy hands on activities.
