Teen Takeover: Filipino Heritage Celebration: Dance, Food and Culture!

Join us for a special Teen Takeover at the Redwood City Library's Family Place in honor of Filipino History Month! On October 12, from 12pm to 2pm, immerse yourself in the vibrant Filipino culture with a traditional dance performance and a Filipino cuisine demonstration by Chef Andrew Arceo. Chef Arceo will share his passion for Filipino flavors, offering delicious tastings along with an interactive cooking experience. Bring your friends and family for an afternoon filled with food, culture, and community! We can't wait to see you there!

Teen Library Takeover event. Teen Library Takeover provides small one-time grants to groups of teens in the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks communities for their Library program ideas.

Join us in the Teen Center every Tuesday for some video gaming fun! We will have the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and Meta Quest 3 available for use. For Grades 6-12.

Join us every Thursday at 4:30 pm

Movie Night is back every Thursday at the Teen Center, now led by teens for teens! Enjoy a fun evening with friends and snacks. For grades 6-12.


Makers Club

Teen Makers

Every third Saturday at 2pm

Join us at the Downtown Library Makerspace for new projects every month! Learn to paint from an actual artist, cook new recipes, or make a new craft to bring home! For grades 6-12.
