Adult Makers: Lunar New Year Calligraphy Workshop

Celebrate the Year of the Snake by joining calligraphy artist Jojo Liu for an interactive workshop where you'll create your own traditional Chinese couplets. In this 60-minute session, you'll learn the basics of Chinese calligraphy, including brush techniques and stroke order, as you craft beautiful couplets to bring good fortune and festivity to your home for the Lunar New Year. Space is limited for this structured workshop. Please register HERE.

Jojo Liu is a calligraphy instructor whose work showcases a balance of traditional calligraphy with a modern flair. She was taught and inspired by her grandfather to practice calligraphy from a young age, and enjoys a love and passion for creative arts.  Jojo is a current board member for the San Francisco Chinese Arts Association (舊金山中華藝術學會), and a member of the American Artist Association (美國藝術家協會).
