Movies on the Square- BraveMaker Film Festival

MOVIES Under the Stars

Every Thursday evening for twelve weeks starting June 6, Courthouse Square transforms into a magical open-air theater with free double features for all ages.

Kick off the evening with family-friendly films at 6pm or independent shorts at 8pm, then stick around for a mix of renowned classics and newly released feature films at 8:30pm

Films are presented in high-definition Blu-Ray with dynamic surround sound—and our stunning LED screen ensures great views from every angle. Come early to snag a table or set up your blanket, then pick-up delicious take-out from one of the many nearby restaurants. Whether you're attending for laughs, action, or indie gems, Movies on the Square delivers unforgettable summer nights—under the stars, in the heart of the city.

BraveMaker Film Festival
8:30 pm

The BraveMaker Film Festival is a highly-anticipated event that takes place in Redwood City every July.

Enjoy this special FREE screening of three BraveMaker Film Festival films sponsored by The TDB FAMILY FOUNDATION! This festival is a celebration of independent cinema and features a wide range of thought-provoking films, including documentaries, narratives, and shorts.

Bring a chair and a blanket, some dinner or takeout from one of Redwood City's many amazing eateries and enjoy inspiring and hope-filled storied with our community. Attendees will be invited for a ride around the square with our guests from CYCLING WITHOUT AGE! You won't want to miss our opening night!
