Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls because it's time for Redwood City's annual fall celebration: Oktoberfest Downtown Redwood City! Get ready to jump into the excitement of the season, where the magic of a classic Oktoberfest comes to life.
Come one, come all… and grab your steins for a clinking good time, filled with thrilling contests, lively music, and dancing! From September 19-28 (except Sept. 22), Courthouse Square will transform into a festive German wunderland with over 2,000 feet of "family style" bench seating, nestled in a Munich-inspired tent of celebration, to bring you an unforgettable September filled with traditional German fun!
Weekend festival seatings are filled with genuine German dance music, lively performers, and game hosts, while weekdays feature toe-tapping sets from various German bands. Indulge in mouthwatering cuisine—pretzels, brats, and other Bavarian bites—perfectly paired with ice-cold beer (or rootbeer for non-drinkers). Then keep the gut times rolling with dance contests, stein-holding challenges, yodeling competitions, your favorite Oktoberfest tunes, and endless renditions of the famous “international” chicken dance. Gather your friends and family for an all-around “gut”-time!
Ticket prices range from $10-$25 for all ages (Non-Drinkers), and $16-$35 for Drinkers 21+. All tickets includea commemorative stein and a drink ticket (beer or soda depending on ticket type). Also available are special VIP, 6-person table-seatings, offered at $250 on weekends.
Advanced online ticket purchase is recommended, as this event may sell-out prior to door sales. No refunds or exchanges. Food and extra drink tickets are sold separately.
