Weaving Stories / Tejiendo Historias

Basket Making Workshop. In the Makerspace. For ages 8-12. 

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you will learn to weave your own reed baskets while celebrating Native American Heritage Month. This creative activity honors the rich artistry, stories, and cultural heritage of Native American basket weaving traditions that continue to inspire generations.  All materials are provided by the library.

Taller de Cestas. En el Espacio Maker. Para edades de 8 a 12 años.

Acompáñanos en un taller práctico donde aprenderán a tejer sus propias cestas de junco mientras celebramos el Mes de la Herencia Indígena Estadounidense. Esta actividad creativa honra la rica artesanía, las historias y el patrimonio cultural de las tradiciones de tejido de cestas de los nativos americanos que continúan inspirando a las generaciones. Todos los materiales son proporcionados por la biblioteca.
