Participants will make mini posters to raise awareness of a cause that is important to them. Examples will be provided of 3-4 word messages that can be carved from a rubber block, along with a symbol or image. Participants will then print their design by hand. All materials are provided. Space is limited, please register HERE. Please only register for ONE session of block printing, April 8 or April 29.

Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo is a visual artist, poet, and facilitator. Her artwork has been included in over seventy exhibitions in galleries and museums from California to New York. Her largest solo show was at Centro de Artes in San Antonio, Texas. She has facilitated arts workshops (painting, drawing, alebrije sculpture, and poetry workshops) for schools, programs, and non-profits throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Elizabeth earned a BFA in Fine Art (Pictorial Arts), from San José State University as well as a BA in French. She served as 2021 Creative Ambassador of the San José Office of Cultural Affairs and her work has been supported by California Arts Council, YBCA, and CCI.
