Historic Union Cemetery Memorial Day CommemorationMonday, May 25 A Redwood City tradition since 1889, the Historic Union Cemetery Memorial Day Commemoration honors those who served with a meaningful morning of remembrance and community. The program features a bagpiper, presentation of the colors, music, speakers, and the crowd-favorite firing of the anvil. Local history organizations will also be on-site sharing exhibits and information. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Parking can be limited, so biking, walking, or carpooling is encouraged. |
