Make space for new creative projects this summer. SHARE gently-used craft supplies and materials from your home. TAKE free supplies to start a new project or hobby. Meet and mingle with other craft enthusiasts, artists, and makers from our community.
Guidelines for sharing supplies:
- Drop-off for supplies starts at 10:15am
- Limit one bag or box of supplies per household
- All items and supplies should be clean and in usable condition
- Examples: yarn; knitting & crochet tools; sewing tools & notions; clean fabric; stickers; scrapbooking supplies; craft kits; pens & markers; stamps; embroidery etc
- Please do not bring items that are: dirty and/or not in usable condition (bring broken items to the next Fixit Clinic!); knives or cutting tools; large craft appliances; oil-based paints and printing inks
Guidelines for taking supplies:
- Event starts at 10:30am
- Take what you need and leave some for others
- Bring your own a bag or box to fill, or take a tote bag from us to fill and decorate.
- Blind Date with a Craft: Maybe your ideal future craft is hidden inside one of our exciting blind bags!
- Hands-on Activities: Express your creativity during the event by making something fun and unique!
All leftover items will be re-donated or responsibly recycled at the library's discretion.
