Last summer Wendelin was the only novelist from the United States invited to speak (keynote) on the international stage of the South China Book Festival because of the immense and enduring popularity of her book FLIPPED with adult Chinese readers. In this slide-augmented talk, Wendelin will share reasons and revelations, her story demonstrating how books can serve as a powerful tool for building global connections and peace. Wendelin will also share why, after 25 years of pressure from fans, she has written the just-released GHOSTED, a heart-healing first-love story described as “the spiritual successor” to FLIPPED.
