Every Thursday morning, Fresh Approach Bay Area will bring a Mobile Farmers' Market Truck to the downtown library. They will set up in front of the library on the plaza. Anyone can buy produce from the farmers market. In addition, a 50% discount is offered to customers who participate in the CalFresh (SNAP), WIC, SSI/SSDI, Medi-CAL, and Unemployment programs.
Fresh Approach Bay Area is a non-profit organization that works in the food access space to bring affordable healthy food to communities across the Bay Area. One of the ways they accomplish this mission is through their Mobile Farmers Market: a food-truck style farmers market that brings farm fresh organic produce to community spaces. They sell produce on behalf of local, BIPOC owned organic farms.
