DESCRIPTION:<p>Learn about the artists Wendy Red Star and Kimowan Metchewais. Red Star focuses on self-portraiture and photography. Metchewais&nbsp;introduced an innovative way of understanding the world informed by his indigenous heritage. Participants will learn about the artists' unique approach to photography and create their own mixed-media paintings that incorporate photographs and personal storytelling.&nbsp;All materials provided. In the Makerspace.</p><p>For Ages 16+</p><p><strong>About the presenter</strong></p><p>Marilyn Montúfar is a fine art photographer, educator, and activist with ten years of research, production, teaching, and exhibition experience locally, nationally, and internationally.
